Remaking America

The reason for Republican roadblocks is because the ideas coming out Congress are lousy. The roadblocks are not working.

This is precisely the problem, blame has to be assigned based on political party affiliation. Does Ms. von Helms forget who it was who promised to focus on taking the war to Afghanistan? It was President Obama. I resent the phony concern about military costs. We have men and women who have been sent into a war zone and now our fearless leader can’t make up his mind about reinforcements. I’m tired of the military being hung out to dry. Bush did it with prosecuting our troops for infraction during the Iraq war. The typical attacks are being thrown around by Ms. von Helms...... Limbaugh, Beck, big business, gas & oil. Who cares? When does it stop? Is it when our jobs have dried up and China calls in our debt? Not all of us are sitting on a wad of money! About patriotism, I love this country, our nation, not necessarily the dirt on which I walk. If our elected representatives can’t take charge, show some leadership, and do what’s in the best interest of America, we won’t have to worry about patriotism or anything else and we sure as heck don’t need them. Regarding the war, it’s not really that bad, the president isn’t under enemy fire, IED bomb threats, snipers, and suicide bombers. His security detail doesn’t have to get permission before using lethal force. He doesn’t have to comply with Rules of Engagement, designed by weak leaders.

So, as our leaders sit and fiddle while the U.S. economy burns, the rest of the thinking world is preparing for their futures, stockpiling, and laughing up theirs sleeves at the incompetent and timid leadership in the U.S. I’ve got to hand it to president Obama, he plows ahead and doesn’t care about public opinion, he’s out to remake America, and not for the better.
