Senior outside hitter Courtney Geesing was selected to first team all-conference, while fellow seniors Kelsi Dardis and Jori Ayers were selected to second team all-conference.
Geesing, who's played on the varsity level since she was a freshman, received all-state honorable mention last season from the Rocky Mountain News for her play in the sate tournament. Geesing led the Lady Indians with 395 kills and was second on the team with 359 digs.

Dardis, who's been playing varsity since she was sophomore, was selected to the second team for the second year in a row as a middle hitter. She led the team in blocks with 48 and also had a team high 46 aces.
"She was another one of our go-to hitters," Forrest said. "Kelsie carried our team offensively and was a great leader by example. She was always encouraging her teammates to perform to the best of their ability."
Forrest said that Dardis also received all-state honorable mention recognition last season from the Rocky Mountain News for her play at the state volleyball championships as well.
Ayers, who began her varsity career as a junior, was selected to the second team as a right setter. As a first-year varsity player, she made significant contributions at the sate tournament last season as a setter. This season she had to sacrifice her position because the team could better use her qualities as right setter, according to Forrest.
"She just had a great attitude all season, despite changing positions," Forrest said. "Jori was a team player. She would do whatever the team needed her to do."
Forrest said that Ayers was great vocal leader on the court and was also a great veteran presence around the younger players.
The Lady Indians' volleyball season came to a close last Saturday when they failed to advance out of Class 4A Regional Volleyball Tournament. They finished the season with a 19-7 record.
