MONTROSE — A Montrose woman found sleeping in a motel room was arrested Sunday on suspicion of several drug offenses and trespassing.

The Montrose Police Department said Vanesa Ryser, 27, was crashing in the motel room on East Main Street without the consent of management. The owner found her sleeping there while making a routine check.

He contacted police who reportedly found what appeared to be marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia, and a white, crusted substance that tested presumptively positive for methamphetamine.

" well if she needs a place to "crash" give her a bed at the county jail. She can detox all while having a roof over her head, food etc... at the cost of tax paying citizens. What a deal! "
