Above and beyond the call of duty! That is how I would describe the response of the Montrose County Sheriff Department and the Fire Protection District/Paramedics to a 911 call I placed following a horseback riding accident in which my husband was involved two weeks ago. Kudos as well to the ER staff at Montrose Memorial Hospital and all the docs on call.

Horse and husband are home and recovering. We in Montrose County, are fortunate to have our top notch first responders, health care providers, and medical facilities.
