MONTROSE — The Montrose County Clerk’s office announced unofficial results in Tuesday’s school board elections.

Incumbent Barbara Bynum took the District D seat with 3,188 votes, compared to Al Benson’s 1,367 votes.
Bynum has served on the board since February, replacing Connie Majors. She’ll serve a two-year term, finishing the last two years of what was originally a four-year term.
Leann Tobin took the District G seat, defeating Joseph Bagnara in the polls, 3,491 to 1,204 votes.
Three of the five open positions were uncontested. Stuart Tolen from Olathe has District A seat with 3,681 votes; incumbent Kjersten Davis took District C with 3,793 votes; and Mark Bray has District E with 3,701 votes.
All new board members, with the exception of District D, will serve four-year terms. Board members are limited to two consecutive terms.
The new board members will be sworn in during the school board’s next regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the board’s new location, 930 Colorado Ave., on Nov. 10.
