Homeless and Runaway Youth Awareness kick off

MONTROSE — The Montrose Board of County Commissioners will kickoff Colorado Homeless and Runaway Youth Awareness Month Monday on the steps of the courthouse, 320 S. First St. at 4 p.m.

On Oct. 5, the BOCC signed a Proclamation declaring November 2009 Homeless and Runaway Youth Awareness Month. The proclamation is intended to raise awareness of the issue and to provide opportunities for community involvement. Anyone interested in runaway and homeless issues is encouraged to attend.
