Bertha is survived by her seven children, Tony Jiron and wife Sally, of Montrose; Viola Arnone and husband Tony of Farmington, N.M.; Bobby Manzanares and wife Rachel of Pueblo, Colo.; Betty Chacon of Farmington; Chris Manzanares and wife Cecelia of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; Bertha Manzanares of Montrose; and Jerry Manzanares of Montrose, who lived with our loving mother all his life; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and one loving nephew, Leroy Jiron, of Montrose. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Manzanares, two grandsons, Chris Manzanares Jr., Rex Bramwell; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Chacon.
A Vigil for Bertha, followed by a Rosary will be held on Monday evening, Aug. 4, 2008 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow the Mass at Grand View Cemetery, Montrose.
